Representative Thomas Massie has announced that he will be hosting his annual "Academy Day" event on Saturday, April 20th at the Marriott Cincinnati Airport in Hebron, KY. The event aims to provide interested students and their parents with the opportunity to meet with representatives from various U.S. Service Academies.
"By attending a U.S. Service Academy, young men and women have the opportunity to serve their country while improving all facets of their character through a rigorous scholastic curriculum and a disciplined moral and physical regimen," said Representative Massie.
The event will offer attendees the chance to learn more about the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy, and the Coast Guard Academy. Admission to these prestigious institutions is highly competitive, with nominees being selected based on factors such as character, leadership, academic excellence, physical aptitude, and extracurricular activities.
Representative Massie encourages any high school student interested in attending a U.S. Service Academy to RSVP for the event. The program will run from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with registration starting at 10:00 AM.
